Monitrd AG, Minervastrasse 3, 8032 Zurich, Switzerland, is the operator of the website www.scanmeter.io and app.scanmeter.io and is thus responsible for the collection, processing, and use of your personal data and for processing data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

SOURCE OF PERSONAL DATA

We process personal data that we obtain from you during the creation of your scanmeter account, your visit to our website(s), within the context of your contact with us by email or via order or a contact form.

You have the option to use a contact or an order form to contact us. For this we may require the following information:

  • Name
  • Company
  • E-mail address
  • Voucher
  • Subject
  • Number of scans
  • Message

We use this data only in order to answer your contact question in the best possible and personalized manner. Therefore, in accordance with Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. b GDPR, the processing of this data is required in order to conduct pre-contractual activities or is in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR.

AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION VIA WEBSITE ACCESS

When you access our website, your device automatically transmits certain data for technical reasons. The following data is stored separately from any other data you may transmit to us:

  • Date and time of access
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • URL of the website visited prior to ours
  • Amount of data sent
  • Requesting domain
  • Notification of successful data retrieval
  • Search term when using a web browser
  • Shortened/anonymized IP

The collection and processing of this data is done for the purpose of enabling the use of our website, continuously ensuring system security and stability, optimizing our website, and for internal statistical purposes. This is our legitimate interest in the processing of data in the sense of Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Furthermore, the IP address will be evaluated, together with other data, in case of attacks on the network infrastructure or other unauthorized use or misuse of the website, for the purpose of intelligence and protection, and, if appropriate, used in criminal proceedings for identification and civil and criminal proceedings against the relevant users. This is our legitimate interest in the processing of data in the sense of Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS WITH IP ANONYMIZATION

We use Google Analytics (with anonymization function), a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies which permit an analysis of your use of the website. The information about your website use generated by the cookie (including your truncated IP address) is transmitted to a server controlled by Google in the USA and is stored there. Google uses this information to analyze your use of the website, to generate reports about website activities for website operators, and to provide further services related to website and internet use. Google may also share such information with third parties to the extent it is legally required to do so and/or to the extent third parties process data on behalf of Google.

We use Google Analytics with the anonymization function. By means of this addition, Google shortens and anonymizes the IP address of the Internet connection of the person concerned, if our Internet pages are accessed from a member state of the European Union or from another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. You may deactivate Google Analytics with the help of a browser add-on if you do not want this website analysis. This add-on can be downloaded from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. You can also activate the “I refuse the storage of my user profile” option above, which willdeactivate the Google Analytics service on our website in your browser.

User-based event data at Google Analytics is deleted after 38 months.

GOOGLE RECAPTCHA

Our website uses the reCAPTCHA service by Google to protect your requests via an online form. The query serves to distinguish whether the input is made by a person or abusively by automated machine-based processing (e.g. by bots). The query includes sending of the internet protocol address and any further data needed by Google for the service to Google. For this purpose, your input will be transmitted to Google and used further there. By using reCAPTCHA, you agree that the recognition provided by you will be used for the digitalization of old works. Due to activation of IP anonymization by us on this website, your internet protocol address will be abbreviated first by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the convention on the European Economic area. Only in exceptional circumstances will your full internet protocol address be transmitted to a server of Google and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google shall use this information in order to evaluate your use of this service. The internet protocol address transmitted by your browser within the context of reCAPTCHA will not be combined with any other data of Google. These data are subject to the deviating provisions on data protection of Google Inc.
